Keith Randall ''Randy'' Jones, 53, of Gaston died Friday, March 18, 2011.

Randy was a native of Halifax County, the son of the late T. C. Jones and Edna Clements Brewer. He loved the lake and was known as the ''Mayor of Wobble Island''. Randy was an avid Tar Heel fan and also loved Kasey Kahne.

He is survived by two sisters, Brenda McElwee of Rocky Mount, VA and Cheryl Toppings and her husband, Kenny, of Gaston; several nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
